BAKER! I have done many things in my life and held many titles, but I would not have imagined that baker would be one of them. Although I have always enjoyed cooking, which included the occasional baking of cakes, brownies, or even biscuits. Bread was never something that I cared about baking.

In 2018, while visiting family, I challenged myself to bake a brioche loaf for dinner. It turned out so wonderful that I was hooked.

I would like to say that I started right away, but it wasn't until the pandemic hit that I discovered the wonder of sourdough and I have not looked back since. Yes, I have to say I am one of many “pandemic bakers.” But I’m okay with that because in that season I learned the most important thing about baking bread. It is therapeutic. Mixing, kneading, folding, shaping, and finally baking the bread brought me joy. And as it turns out, I am good at it.

So I started ALL RISE BREAD, a cottage bakery that is providing the communities of New Braunfels, San Marcos, and Seguin with high quality baked artisan breads and pastries. I hope you will take some time to look through our menu. I also recommend that you visit the site often because new offerings will be added to the menu.
